November 1, 1995 – the day after Halloween. Betty went outside to get her newspaper. It was like any other day.
Then she realized her entire house, her yard, her Magnolia Tree had been TP’d.
Toilet paper everywhere.
So Betty did what any good neighbor would do…she cleaned it up.
She had everything cleaned up except for one piece of toilet paper at the top of her Magnolia Tree. Betty went in to her garage and pulled out her ladder.
She reached and reached, but failed to take hold of the last piece of toilet paper. So she decided to reach into her pocket and pull out her lighter to get rid of the toilet paper.
About the time she lit the toilet paper on fire a gust of wind came up and blew the toilet paper into her lawn. Catching her yard on fire…and her home!
